Should Britain have joined World War One? Keep these points in mind during the argument

The battle lines are drawn. On the one hand, the First World War was a necessary struggle and Britain had no alternative but to play its part: on the other, the war was a tragic mess that came about by mistake, and we should have stayed out. Mugabe praises Museveni for signing Anti-Homosexuality law

On 24th February 2014 Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni signed into law the Anti-Homosexuality Bill which criminalises homosexuality and same-sex marriage. Apart from imposing life sentence imprisonment for offenders, the new law prescribes prison sentences of five to seven years for the “promotion” of, “attempts to commit”, “aiding and abetting” and “conspiracy to engage in” homosexuality.
